PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition with firm and durable adhesiveness, outstanding in hardness, tensile strength, etc., useful for adhesives, etc., by blending each specific organopolysiloxane and organic peroxide in specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane with the average unit expressed by the formula: (R<1>)= SiO4-Z/2 [R<1> is (non)substituted monovalent hydrocarbon; Z is 1.98-2.01], having a viscosity at 25 deg.C >=300cs and (B) 0.01-10pts.wt. of an organic peroxide of formula (R<2> is H, alkyl or alkoxy; R<3> is alkyl or phenyl; a is 1-3; b is 0-2; a+b=3; c is 1-3; d is 0-2; furthermore, 1<=c+d<=5) [e.g., 4,4'-bis(vinyl dimethylsilyl)benzoyl peroxide].
