PURPOSE:To produce a wide-area photoreceptor in an economical way without using an evaporating device, by using a photoreceptor containing a photoconductive layer provided as if it covers one side and an aperture of a conductive substrate having a microaperture. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 8 is buried into a photoconductive layer 9 or a part of the substrate is sunk into the layer 9. When the bias voltage is applied between the substrate 8 and an electrode 12 while the image-shaped light is irradiated to a photoreceptor, a plus (+) photocarrier produced within the layer 9 shifts toward an insulated sheet 11 at the bright side of an image. Thus a charge layer is formed at the interface between the sheet 11 and the layer 9. While no charge layer is formed at the dark side of the photoreceptor since the layer 9 does not conduct. The separation is possible even at the bright side, is the voltage applied from a power supply 15 before the sheet 11 is turned off from the photoreceptor. |
