The slotted ends of the reflector have horizontal ribs (6,7) on both sides of the slots, inside the slots, to grip the spokes. The middle ribs (7) provide a secure grip while the outer ribs (6) allow the reflector to tilt w.r.t. the spokes. The middle clip (12) is set on one face of the reflector to compensate for the spoke angle and provide an upright setting for the reflector. The reflector has reflecting surfaces on both sides and provides lateral protection for the bicycle. No fitting screws are required, with the deep end slots securing the reflector after twisting into position.
