Pen for growing snails - has base with grill above water trough and transparent plastics cover

The pen for growing snails has a lower platform at the interior of which rests a trough. The trough is covered by a transparent hood (3) with air holes. The interior of the trough can have a fine qrille (7) with apertures for food and water. The lateral walls of the trough can also have apertures (5). The temp. of the pen is maintained constant by a water reservoir in the platform which evaporates to also give a constant humidity. The trough is contained on the platform via ribs (6) to form a space for the water reservoir.
