<p>Relatively low mfg. and running costs and ease of transport are afforded by the hospital unit. It has a housing in the shape of a modified shipping container, with openings for doors and windows. In part of the top, bottom or side walling, at least, there is a partitioning wall providing a compartment for accommodation of supply tanks for water, fuel and similar, and services. There may also be partitions in the main interior, to provide separate compartments. One can be a machine room, with service assemblies and central switchboard. Top lights can be provided. The vehicle making delivery need not remain on site, and the unit is ready for immediate use.</p> |
