PURPOSE:To increase the information transfer efficiency, by editing line buffer so that the actual address after the extension of line buffer is correspond to the print position, after the reception of one line's share of information. CONSTITUTION:A received information is successively written in a line buffer 6 of a job memory 1 by the operation of an operation processor 9, through an input buffer 17. At the same time, every time when one character's share is received, the number of received character is calculated at a counter 3 and the address of a line buffer 6 to write in each character code is designated. To a buffer size counter 4, +1 is added in case of the standard character and +2 is added in case of an extended character and large size character, allowing to designate and manage the actual size of the line buffer, taking into consideration the extended and large size characters. In a large size character counter 5, the number of large size characters in the input information is added, allowing to serve the processing for the reception of an extension designating code. |
