<p>The implement sprays liquid onto the soil, the liquid being supplied by a hose which is hauled over the soil in the lengthwise direction in order to move the discharge unit attached to its end. This unit has a mobile chassis (7,8,9) with a boom (5,6) extending at right angles to the travel direction. Spray nozzles are fixed at regular intervals along the boom and are connected to the hose (3), and discharge the finely-divided liquid in the horizontal or upwards direction. Discharge can be arranged to take place away from the implement travel direction.</p> |
