PURPOSE:To make adequate verification of breaking performance without increasing the capacity of an electric current source by equivalently generating the buffer reaction force at the current breaking in a multipoint breaking gas breaker by means of an operating reaction force generating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The breaking parts 1-6 of a gas breaker are contained in a ground tank 7 sealed with gaseous SF6. An electric current source 16 and a voltage source 23 are applied respectively from an equivalent tester in order to verify the breaking performance of the breaking parts 1. On the other hand, an operating reaction force generating mechanism 24 is provided in order to simulate the reaction force by the increase of pressure in the buffer chamber to be generated by the arcs fired at intrinsic breaking parts 2-6, and the output thereof is supplied via a rod 9 to an operator 8. Since in this way the buffer reaction force at the current breaking is provided correctly without increasing the capacity of the current source of the equivalent tester, the adequate verification of the breaking performance is accomplished. |
