PURPOSE:To obtain the title permeable membrane for a red blood corpuscule having the controlled shape, size, and distribution on the membrane surface of the permeable pores and capable of distinctly grasping the permeation behavior of a red blood corpuscule with good reproducibility by piecing the pore vertically to the membrane plane, and uniformly arranging the pores having a circular cross section and a specified diameter. CONSTITUTION:For example, a polycarbonate film produced by casting is multiply irradiated with the excimer laser pulse of a specified wavelength in a vacuum vertically to the film and a mask surface through the photomask, and the film at the position corresponding to the mask opening (light transmitting part) is photoetched. The pores having 3-7mum diameter and a circular cross section and vertically piercing the membrane plane are uniformly arranged by this method, and the permeable membrane for a red blood corpuscule, wherein the ratio of the sum total of the cross-sectional areas of pores to the area of the region where the pores are present on the membrane surface is controlled to 0.5-30%, is obtained. |
