The machine manufactures profiles of varying longitudinal cross sections. It has pairs of non-turnable profiling tools, fastened to driven or non-driven shafts. The tools are located in a row of profiling frames. At least one tool (4,5) is divided transverse to its rotary axis (3). During profiling, the divided tool sections may be adjusted relative to each other. An adjusting unit preferably engages the sections and is at least stationary. The tool sections are turnable relative to the stationary sections of the adjusting unit. The tool sections may be axially slidable on their respective shaft(s).
