<p>The waste heat recovery from a refrigeration system for e.g. a cold room to heat water in a storage tank, uses a coil (3) inside the tank, used with a heat pump and acting as a condenser. The output end (7) of the coil is connected to a pressure regulator (9), acting as a three way valve. The valve has two outlets (10,11) connected by lines (12,14) to opposite sides of an auxiliary condenser (13). One line (12) forms a connection with one side, and the other, (14), connected by a check valve (19), to the other side. This latter connection is also connected to a collector vessel for the condensed refrigerant. The inlet connection (8) communicates with a valve (21,22) at each end, operated according to the inlet pressure. Below a certain pressure the second valve (22) opens and above a certain pressure, the first valve (21) opens.</p> |
