摘要 PURPOSE:To perform arithmetic processing easily even by a small-scale arithmetic device, by utilizing an approximate expression. CONSTITUTION:The ever-changing data of an operation signal CS as the control input of a process part P is stored in a memory M in a testing device 2 temporarily together with the ever-changing data of a process output value PS; and the area, shown by the oblique lines, between the new set value (a) of the operation signal CS and a transient characteristic curve U(t) and the area, shown by the oblique lines, between the new set value (b) of the process output value PS and a transient characteristic curve X(t) are contrasted with each other through arithmetic processing to know dynamic characteristics of the process part P in an actual operation state. In this case, the transfer function of a process as the starting point of characteristic area integration is obtained as a relatively simple approximate expression. Consequently, the base value of a PID control parameter is calculated easily through relatively simple arithmetic processing by using a small-scale arithmetic device.
