METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF WOVEN FABRIC WITH WAVE-LIKE CREPE EFFECT

Wave-like jagged fabrics were manufd. by utilizing the heat shrinkage of weft yarn rather than warp yarn in boiling water. The false-twisting yarn or draw-textured yarn of polyester filaments was used as weft yarn, and the twist no. was in the range of 0-1,000 TPM. The warp and weft yarn were manufd. by following formula I (Pw = shrinking force per unit area of warp; Pf = shrinking force per unit area of weft; Dw = fineness of warp 1 ends; Df = fineness of weft 1 ends; Nw = warp density of fabric; Nf = weft density of fabric; Pw = specific gravity of warp fabric; Pf = specific gravity of weft fiber).
