PURPOSE:To obtain a tuyere for blast furnaces which is easy to assemble, has no danger and permits the completion of the work in a short time, by providing a sloped part eliminating a level difference to the level difference part between the inside circumferential surface of a large tuyere mouth part and the inside circumferential surface of a body part or to the level difference part between the outside circumferential surface of a small tuyere root part and the outside of the body part. CONSTITUTION:A large tuyere 5' fitted at its root part 6 tightly to the supporting port part 4 of a large tuyere bracket 3 fixed to a furnace wall 1 is formed at the inside diameter of its mouth part 7 smaller than the inside diameter of its body part 10. The boundary between the mouth part 7 and the body part 10 is a level difference part A, but only the range of approximately 60 deg. on the lower side is formed to a sloped part 15 to provide a slip way migrating naturally from the inside circumferential surface 7a of the mouth part 7 to the inside circumferential surface 10a of the body part 10. Namely, if a small tuyere 8 is inserted into the deep part of the large tuyere 5' and if this small tuyere 8 is further pushed in which its vertical position is held correctly maintained, the root part of the small tuyere 8 is shifted along the sloped part 15 providing the slip way to the inside of the mouth part 7 of the large tuyere 5', whereby the root part 9 is tightly fitted into the mouth part 7. |
