PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor and a copy both having superior characteristics, by laminating a heat-resistant resin layer containing a conductor on a conductive substrate, and on this layer, a heat-resistant charge retaining layer containing a photoconductor to give a photoreceptor, forming an electrostatic latent image on the charge retaining layer, developing the image with a one-component type devel- oper, and transferring the developed image. CONSTITUTION:Conductive layer 4 is formed on insulating substrate 5, interlayer 2 made of a heat-resistant resin film, such as fluorocarbon resin or polyimide resin, containing a conductive material of carbon black, SnO2, aluminum, or the like is formed on layer 4, and charge retaining layer 1 made of a heat-resistant resin film including said resin containing an in organic photoconductor is formed on layer 2. Drum 10, etc. having photoreceptor layer 11 thus formed is charged 12, imagewise exposed, developed 13, and transferred to transfer paper 15. A one-component type developer containing no carrier, and a styrene polymer, and having conductivity and high antitackiness or surface lubricity is used, thus permitting a photoreceptor having superior charging characteristics and a high quality copy to be obtained. |
