The windscreen washer circuit for motor vehicles, consists of a vessel with cleaning liquid. The liquid is supplied via a valve to a spray nozzle. The inside of the vessel is pressurised from a pneumatic pressure source. The pressure in the liquid vessel can be reliably maintained. The pneumatic pressure system contains a pneumatic pump. The inside of the vessel (1) is linked to the under-pressure pump (7) via a two-way valve (6). The suction inlet (9) of the pump is linked to the central locking system of the motor vehicle. There is a non-return valve (8) in the line (5) from the pump to the vessel (1). The pump can be driven by an electric motor (10).
