<p>PURPOSE:To provide a smooth rising characteristic of an electromagnetic clutch and reduce the wear of clutch discs by detecting an armature rotating speed in the electromagnetic clutch and pulse controlling an engaging force so as to have the rise of the armature rotating speed accord with a target rising characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A coil case 4 encasing a coil 5 of an electromagnetic clutch 3 is fixed to a side cover of a compressor 19, and a driving rotor 7 is mounted through a ball bearing 6 to the coil case 4. An armature disc 14 is mounted through a hub 11, plate 12 and leaf spring 13 to a shaft 9 of the compressor 19. The rotor 7 and the plate 12 are provided with magnet projections 15 and 16, respectively, so as to detect rotational speeds by sensors 17 and 18. The sensors 17 and 18 are connected to a microcomputer 1 to pulse control the excitation of the coil 5 so that the rotation of the armature disc 14 rises in accordance with a target rising characteristic. Accordingly, a smooth rising characteristic of the electromagnetic clutch may be provided to thereby reduce the wear.</p> |
