PURPOSE:To improve the deterioration of characteristics of a variable equalizer due to the length of wire of a variable resistor, when the used transmission frequency is high, by adding a phase equalizer between the variable resistor and an auxiliary circuit. CONSTITUTION:In a variable equalizer consisting of a signal input terminal 1, signal output terminal 2, resistors 3-5, auxiliary circuit 13, and variable resistor 10, the primary phase equalizer 25 consisting of a coil 19 with center tap and capacitor 22 is inserted between the auxiliary circuit 13 and the variable resistor 10 so that the lead inductance 16 including the stay capacity due to the length of wire of the variable resistor 10 can be corrected. |
