The system is used for regrinding steel edges and running surfaces of skis. These repairs are carried out using a hand grinding tool which is easily transportable and specially made for the layman. The tool looks like plane which when applied automatically produces the necessary steel edge angle of about 90 degrees and the required sharp edge free from indentations. Special grips for the grinding tool are available for left handed users.
