PURPOSE:To enable to fix the coils in slots of the electric rotary machine without using wedges, etc., by a few number of processes by a method wherein grooves are provided in the axial direction on the side walls of slot at an upper coil inserting part, and after the coil is inserted, a resin is filled up in the gaps between the coil and the grooves. CONSTITUTION:The grooves 10 to be filled up with the resin are preliminary provided on the side walls of the slot 9 at the upper coil 3 inserting part. The grooves are formed, for example, in a taper type having the narrow upper part and the broad lower part. After the lower coil 4 and the upper coil 3 are inserted respectively, the resin 11 is filled up in the gaps between the upper coil 3 and the grooves 10, and are hardened for fixing. Accordingly, no slot wedge, etc., is necessitated to fix the coil, and the fixing of coil can be performed easily by a few processes even if by an unskilled workman. |
