An electronically controlled panning rotor, mounted between a film camera and a stand, designed to be an electromechanical aid for eliminating shaking during panning. Because the transmission from motor to screw of the stand is achieved with a worm drive 18-19 and the friction disk 3, a smooth motion is assured for the camera even at a focal distance of 90 mm. Thanks to the friction disk 8, the camera can be turned manually without actuating the drive arrangement. The panning rotor is electrically controlled. The camera's set speed of turning is constant, regardless of the inertia in the transmission or the friction couplings. <IMAGE> |
