The telephone system compares the address of the wanted subscriber station with the address of the calling subscriber from the first network. This occurs when call re-routing occurs with the wanted subscriber station in the second network and after converting the address of the wanted subscriber station into a form appropriate for handling by the re-routing system. If the address of the wanted station is the same as the address of the calling subscriber then no call re-routing occurs but rather a connection is initiated.
