The grain dryer consists of a central vessel (2) contained in an outer casing (3). The outside vessel is divided into three compartments. The top part is enclosed in the hopper (5). This part is connected to the extraction fan (6). The central portion (7) is furnished with a supply of hot air from the air heater (8) adjacent to the dryer. The heater is fitted with a control system (9). The lower compartment, is open to atmosphere at the bottom (12). Cold air mixes with the hot air from the heater and cools the grain after drying.
