<p>A plant for the high-pressure spraying of chocolate paste, e.g. on moulds in the automated production of hollow chocolate articles for filling, uses a valve to spray the paste through a vibratory screen on a storage vessel which is designed as a weighing container. A high-pressure pump extracts the paste and passes it through a flexible hose to two spray nozzles. A programmer actuates each nozzle inturn for an equal time interval. The nozzles have apertures with the section of a sharp- ended ellipse. Intervals of rest allow any solid particles in the nozzles to re- orient themselves and to be cleared out at the next turn. The degree of clogging can be easily controlled and stoppages prevented.</p> |
