PURPOSE:To enable to recognize the total image easily, by extending the picture in circulation of a pipe into one screen, through the storage of images in pipe sequentially in a memory unit, and through the readout of the content of the memory unit after one circulation of the in-tube part, for display. CONSTITUTION:The picture of the inner wall of a pipe picked up with a mirror 3 by means of a television camera located in the pipe is obtained, and video signals are input to a gate 15 from a television camera controller 7. On the other hand, the horizontal drive signal from the camera controller 7 is input to a gate generator 8. Gate pulses 17 are generated from this generator 8 and they are input to the gate 15 to pick up, the video signal at almost the center only, from the video signals, allowing to form the video signal 18. This line video signal is input to a frame memory 20. The frame memory 10 records n-lines of video line signals. The video informa- tion recorded is sequentially read in, allowing to reproduce the picture of circumferential pipe, for the diagnosis of flaws on pipe inner surface. |
