<p>The locking device secures a support, such as a label, identification plate or earmark for cattle, having a pointed pin secured to the support and containing a circlip groove behind the point. The pin point is inserted in the bore of a housing containing the circlip, which engages in the groove to prevent withdrawal. The circlip is fitted (21) loose in a chamber (20) at the inner end of the bore (15,17), so as to snap into the groove (9) after the point has passed (6), while protruding partly from the groove so as to strike against the shoulder (16) of the soring chamber (20) nearest to the access opening of the bore (17). This prevents movement of the pin (2) in the reverse direction.</p> |
