<p>A finned shell or like projectile is disclosed which has, in each of its fins, a recess for an auxiliary fin. The auxiliary fin is pivoted at one end in the recess and a spring in the recess normally urges the other end of the auxiliary fin outwardly of the recess. Thus, the auxiliary fins can be pressed into the recesses for firing and will automatically be extended after firing.</p> |
