Appts. for filling foam moulds - comprising stationary mixing head and driven turntable supporting moulds

Appts is for running liq foam into moulds. It has at least one mixing head, a turntable and moulds placed on the turntable. The mixing head is stationary. The turntable has a driving unit which is designed so that during filling of moulds the turntable speed is greatly reduced, but between filling times the speed is stepped up. The turntable drive is pref in the form of a geneva mechanism producing a changing speed, in which the geneva wheel has evenly spaced radial slides, e.g. 4 slides, for driving pins joined to the table. The pins may be placed under the turntable. The turning motion of the wheel through the angle between two slides corresponds to the distance between moulds. The turntable itself may be round or oval in shape. The appts has a simple driving system and short filling cycles are possible and by having a stationary mixing head, trouble free operation is promoted.
