PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-sensitive recording material with high thermal response and free from sticking, grounds sticking, trailing, etc., by providing a protective layer including an N,N-ethyleneurea derivative, etc., on a heat-sensitive color- forming layer including a color-forming substance and a color-developing substance. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive color-forming layer coating solution including a color-forming substance usually colorless or light-colored and a color-developing substance which cause the former substance to form colors by heating as color-forming constituents is applied on a supporting material. By applying on the layer a protective layer coating solution including an N,N-ethyleneurea derivative represented by the formula (wherein R is C10-30 alkyl, cyclohexyl), a filler and a water-soluble bonding agents as its main constituents, a purpose heat-sensitive recording-material is obtained. As color-forming substances, triphenyl-methanes, fluoranes, phenothiazines, etc., and a color-developing substances, phenolic acid substances are preferable, respectively. The coating solutions are each prepared by crushing and dispersing with the solution of a bonding agent such as PVA, etc., in a ball mill. |
