The present invention relates to a device for the transport of material in the form of waste, such as household or industrial waste, comprising a reciprocating member 2 placed in the bottom of a suitably dimensioned circular, rectangular or square steel or plastic cylinder casing 1. The device according to the invention is characterized in that the reciprocating member 2 is provided with mutually spaced pressure slots 3 and side slots 4 for the propulsion of material coming to the cylinder casing 1, the slots, during the return motion, being retracted in the member 2, and in that, in the lower part of the cylinder casing 1, close to the bottom, on each respective side of the member 2, brake pads 5 are fixed for preventing material from being fed back during the return motion. The reciprocating member 2 is provided with hydraulic or mechanical drive means and is constructed in the form of a bar of U-shaped or angular cross-section attached to or provided with roller members 6. The object of the invention is to be easily able to forward the material to a collecting site, for example a compressor, for reprocessing, whereby, on the one hand, the treatment is centralized, on the other hand, a hygienic plant is obtained. <IMAGE> |
