<p>Load bearing aluminium, steel, plastics or similar pipe walling, is used with an additional walling of insulating material supported on this. It makes up pipes coupled together to form a cooling transport duct for underground mine air-conditioning systems. The insulating walling (20,21) is located inside the load bearing pipe walling (2,11). It is pref. prefabricated from a soft moss rubber tube incorporating air occlusions, and may have a further soft tube inside it, or it can be a double-walled cylinder, with insulation between its walls. This is impact-resistant, fire-resistant and largely corrosion-resistant.</p> |
