Safety device for a lifting apparatus which is preferably intended for lifting patients in hospital wards, the lifting apparatus being able to be secured to a support member which is arranged higher up in the ward, and the lifting apparatus having at least one lifting belt 12 which in its longitudinal direction can be raised and lowered vertically, under the action of a drive device included in the lifting apparatus, the safety device consisting of a displaceable control member 10, 11 which surrounds the free portion of the lifting belt 12 and is provided with a winding and unwinding member 13, 14 intended for the free end portion of the lifting band 12, and said control members 10, 11 being provided with a manually activatable locking device 15, 15', 16, 16', 17, 18, 19 for locking and unlocking the control member 10, 11 in different displacement positions along the free portion of the lifting band 12. <IMAGE> |
