The moulding is for vehicles and has a rear-side C-shaped channel to accommodate displaceable fixture clips. Clip movement limitation is achieved by clips (3) which can be braced or clamped in the channel (2). The clips have inclined surfaces (4) coinciding with the free edges of the accommodating channel, and in their area of application have a width which is smaller than the canal aperture internal width. The inclined surfaces extend into a width which is greater than the channel internal width. After their greatest width, the inclined surfaces evolve into a back cut (5) directed away from the free edges of the channel (2). At least one of the inner channel free edges has notches which have a smaller depth than the overhand of the C-shaped channel.
