SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To enhance the colorability and image preservability of a photographic material by adding a magenta (or yellow) coupler having a specified group. CONSTITUTION:A coupler having an acrylcarboxylic acid aryl ester group represented by formula I [where J is (substituted) arylene and A is (substituted) aryl] and forming magenta (or yellow) dye by coupling with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, e.g., the compound of formula II or III is allowed to be contained in the green (or blue) sensitive emulsion layer of a silver halide photographic material. The amount of the coupler added is about 0.07- 0.7mol/mol of silver halide.
