Pantograph machine for signing official documents - has pens governed by contoured cam with positional adjustment to obviate adjustment of paper

The pantograph signing machine for reproducing a signature on large numbers of official documents has two cams mounted side by side on a common shaft. These cams actuate levers (14,17) connected to a parallelogram linkage (15,18,20) with a fixed pivot (16). The parallelogram is connected to additional links (41,44,39) and to the bar (43) which carries two pens (22,221). These pens can be attached anywhere along the bar (43) and so obviate the need for any system for adjusting the position of the paper. A lever (31) lifts the pens clear of the paper when each signature is complete.
