PURPOSE:To restart quickly a coiling operation of a filament strand by cutting off a core wire when an empty bobbin is detected, replacing the empty bobbin with a new bobbin, connecting the ends of the core wires each other and starting again the coiling operation. CONSTITUTION:A core wire 4 is cut off when an empty bobbin 1 is detected, and the bobbin 1 is pulled out from a core wire guide-shaft 3, thus taken out from the thus-cut end of the core wire 4. Next, a new bobbin 1 is mounted on the core wire guide-shaft 3 and the ends of the core wores 4 are connected to each other so as to restart a coiling work. In this way, the coiling work is quickly restarted by the newly mounted bobbin without coiling and transferring a filament strand from other supplying reel in case of an empty state of the bobbin 1. |
