PURPOSE:To obtain the title magnetic toner having conductivity >=10<-8>OMEGAcm<-1>, and superior in fixability, offset resistance, heat stability, fluidity, etc., by using a specified polyester resin as a fixing resin. CONSTITUTION:One mole terephthalic acid, 0.74-1.02mole neopentyl glycol, and 0.04-0.39mole trimethylolpropane are mixed and polymerized to give a polyester resin having 55-70 deg.C glass transition point, 110-130 deg.C softening point, and 50- 150mgKOH/g OH value. The title toner is prepared by mixing said polyester resin, a magnetic powder of 0.5-5mum mean particle diameter, and conductive particles, such as carbon black. |
