<p>PURPOSE:To short-circuit a brake resistor always under optimal conditions, by effecting simple operation on the basis of the speed of an electric rolling stock, a braking instruction value and the voltage of an electric vehicle feed line. CONSTITUTION:The voltage of an electric vehicle feed line detected by an electric vehicle feed line voltage detector 1 is applied to a speed pattern generation circuit 2 to transmit a speed function corresponding to a value instructed by a braking instruction value circuit 3. A comparator 5 compares the speed function with the speed of an electric vehicle detected by an electric vehicle speed detector 4 to cause a short-circuting switch energizing circuit 7 to acton condition that a braking instruction is applied from a braking instructor 6. When a short-circuiting switch is short-circuited, the short-circuited state is self-maintained by a self-maintaining circuit 8.</p> |
