PURPOSE:To enable to assemble various kinds of engines by one conveyor and one kind jig of by a method wherein pivoting arms are pivotally journaled on an upper side of a table at left and right sides of fore and aft portions respectively and pins for positioning are protruded on the respective pivoting arms. CONSTITUTION:Columns 2... are established on fore and aft portions of a table 1 at respective left and right symmetrical positions thereof and pivoting arms 3L, 3R,-5L, 5R are journaled rotatably about vertical axises thereof in such a manner that respective one piece of the pivoting arm are journaled on the left and right columns 2 at the fore portion while respective two pieces of the pivoting arms are journaled on the left and right columns at the aft portion of the table. Receiving seats 6a-6f, 7a-7f, 8a-8f, 9a-9f, 10L and 10R are provided to respective pivoting arms and positioning pins 16a, 16c-16f, 17a-17e, 18a, 18c-18e, 19b-19f are protruded from respective receiving surfaces consisting of the respective receiving seats. Fixing means 21-23 for positioning are provided at respective predetermined positions of the respective pins and thus a jig for assembling an engine is constituted. |
