A barley nectar having a sweet and soft taste is prepared by adding honey, sugar, citric acid and glycine to a roasted barley flour contg. glutinous rice flour and soybean flour. The mixt. diluted with H2O and filled in the can is heated in 1000C for 1 hr, and sealed under vacuum condition. The product is obtained by heating again at 130-1350C for 1 hr. to give a good storage.
