Dishwasher with water throughflow control plate - incorporates slot in plate which rests on axle driven by motor

The dishwasher has a control consisting of a plate (7) resting on an axle (6). The plate (7) has a kidney shaped slot (8) in it, and rests against the front (3) of the housing supporting the discharge pipe (4, 5). The slot (8), independently of the position of the plate (7) releases a constant through-flow cross section, in relation to the openings (9, 10) for the discharge pipe in the housing front. A labyrinth seal (12) is placed between the plate (7) and the front housing wall (3). The axle (6) is driven by a motor outside the housing.
