PURPOSE:To enhance a recovery ratio of a rotary converter exhaust gas by providing a mechanism contacting under pressure at all times an outer cylinder upper end of a lance socket to a ringlike horizontal surface of a step formed portion through an O-ring to completely seal a lance introducing port. CONSTITUTION:A lance 1 is inserted into a socket 2 attached to a hood 9 of a converter exhaust gas recovery apparatus, an O-ring 7 is provided to an upper end external surface of an inner cylinder 3 attached to an upper end of the socket 2 to be contacted to an inner surface of an outer cylinder 4 and a sliding surface of the inner and the outer cylinder 3, 4 is hermetically sealed. The upper end of the outer cylinder 4 contacted to a ringlike horizontal surface 8A of a step portion 8 formed in the upper end of the socket 2 through the O-ring. A driving mechanism 5 such as a fluid pressure cylinder or the like is communicated with a bracket 16 attached to the upper end of the outer cylinder 4 to always contact under pressure the upper end of the outer cylinder 4 to said ringlike horizontal surface 8A so as not to detach said O-ring. Moreover, a baffle plate 13 is attached to an inner side of the inner cylinder 3 in multistage fashion to form a labyrinth to prevent a converter exhaust gas from leaking. |
