PURPOSE:To prevent cracks at corner sections of an insulating layer by winding a thermal contracting substance between the insulating layer and a mold for molding and the thermal contracting substance contracts on heating and is removed after contraction. CONSTITUTION:After winding a filmy thermal contracting substance 3 on an insulating layer 2 which covers a conductor 1, a metal mold 4 is applied on the thermal contracting substance 3. A thermal contracting substance 5 is then wound on the mold 4. After widing, pressure molding is made by heating to manufacture an insulating coil. The thermal contracting substances 3, 5, the mold 4 or the like are removed after molding. As a result, there will be no difference in contracting power to the corner sections of the insulating layer by obtaining sufficient pressure power enough to push the resin which is easy to be accumulated at the corner sections at the time of molding toward the outside of the insulating layer. Therefore, the occurrence of cracks at the corner sections will be prevented. |
