PURPOSE:To make easy the position adjustment of solid-state scanning elements, by setting fine non-read-in region at the junction of split part individually and separating the region read in with the solid-state scanning elements at the non-read-in region. CONSTITUTION:The main scanning line L for original read-in is split into split parts L1, L2 of n(>1), the split parts L1, L2 are respectively provided with the solid-state scanning elements S1, S2 to read in the original information of the main scanning line L. The non-read-in region DELTAL is set at the junction of the parts L1, L2, and the constitution is made that the information on the region DELTAL can not be read in with the elements S1, S2. The information read in with the elements S1, S2 are fed to shift registers 13, 14, the output of the registers 13 and 14 is respectively fed to an interpolation processing circuit 15, and the information of the region DELTAL is approximately obtained with the interpolation method by using the information read in from the adjacent elements S1, S2. This information is fed to a synthesis circuit 16 together with the information read in at the elements S1, S2 to output the read-in information from the original. |
