PURPOSE:To make possible the rolling work for the product of a wide range, and to improve the yield and the accuracy, by arranging plural rolling lines following to the planetary type skew rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:The rolling line A following to the heating furnace 15 is constituted of the reforming mill 16, the planetary type skew rolling mill 17 and the swinging shear 18. The rolling line B is arranged behind the rolling line A and is constituted of the reforming mill 19 and the traveling rod shear 20. The reforming mill 19 is a universal mill for reforming the round sectioned blank into the square sectioned product. The cooling bed 21 is arranged behind the traveling rod shear 20. The rolling line C is arranged parallelly to the rolling line B and behind the rolling line A. The rolling lines A and B are arranged so as to make the material's traveling passes to be a straight line. The material's traveling pass of the rolling line C is shifted from the material's traveling pass of the rolling line A. The rolling line C is constituted of the finishing mill 22 comprising the conventional type sixteen rolling stands and the traveling shear 23. The cooling bed 24 is installed behind the traveling shear 23. |
