Arrangement for bringing about a defined level in a reference level vessel which is used for level measurement in pressure vessels. The liquid is in a boiling state and uncondensable gases may occur without hindering level measurement. The problem of maintaining steam condensation in the reference level vessel has been solved by an insulated connection pipe with separate transport paths for inflowing steam and outflowing condensate. The reference level vessel is uninsulated and divided into a number of chambers.
