<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the toner deposition on roller surface and convey the image support without impairing images by providing cleaning means and charge removing means for the surface of transfer paper guide rollers in a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:In order to prevent deposition of toners 40 on the transfer paper guide roller 37 side, the means 38 for cleaning the guide 37a on the roller surfaces and the means 39 for removing the charges on the surface of the guides 37a are provided. The cleaning means 38 press their cleaner members to the roller surfaces with suitable pressure and the charge removing means 39 removes charges by contacting their brush-form members to the roller surfaces or applying AC corona. Thereby, the roller surface potentials produced by the friction with transfer paper 201 and toner images 40 are perfectly removed.</p> |
