PURPOSE:To render operation for distribution of numerous copies efficient and copying operation extremely easy, by setting the number of usable bins in multistep type sorters in advance and controlling copying action and indication. CONSTITUTION:The first sorter A and the second sorter B are connected with a copier. A number of copies is set by copy number setting key 22 on the indication panel of an operation unit interlocked with the copier. After starting copying by copy start key 21, the copied sheets are sent with takeout rollers 51, sending rollers 102, etc. through a given route to the first bin of sorter A. Sheet receiving is confirmed by sensors 69a, b. When the 11th sheet is received in the last bin, claw 104 moves to the position of a dotted line, and the following sheets are sent to the second sorter B. When the preset 22nd copy is finished, warning indication is made by copy end indicator 23. Copying of the second original is made likewise, thus permitting copying operation to be made extremely easy. |
