PURPOSE:To prevent flickering in a fluorescent light, a television, or the like by operating or stopping the phase control inverter device in synchronism with the power source frequency. CONSTITUTION:When a trigger pulse is applied to the terminal 30 of a pulse transformer 25 from a trigger circuit block 4, thyristors 14 and 17 become conductive. By the conduction of the thyristors 14 and 17, a differentiation pulse is applied to a pulse transformer 25, and a pulse trigger voltage further triggering the thyristor 14 is generated. Subsequently, thyristors 15 and 16 are triggered. When a trigger pulse is applied from a synchronizing trigger circuit 4 to an self-exciting inverter circuit in synchronism with the pulsating voltage of the rectifying block 2, the self- exciting inverter circuit operates at the crest of the pulsating voltage and stops at the bottom part thereof. |
