<p>By adding amino acid, e.g., glycine, alanine, thereonine, valine, serine, hydroxyproline, proline or mixtures thereof, to compositions containing antibiotics, e.g., erythromycin, lincomycin, clindamycin, novobiocin, vancomycin, fusidic acid, rifamycin, polymyxins, neomycin, kanamycin, tobramycin, gentamycin, or other aminoglycosides, penicillins and cephalosporins or mixtures thereof, having as a base polymethacrylates, acrylates, methacrylate/acrylate copolymers, or mixtures thereof, reproducible improved antibiotic-release properties are achieved.</p> |
